This very practical home is situated on the outskirts of the village of La Alqueria and 5 minutes by car to the town of Alhaurin de la Torre. This town has many amenities, including several supermarkets, doctors, dentist and chemists. There is a wide range of restaurants, including tapas, Indian, Chinese and Italian. There are a good percentage of people who speak English, and over the years we have built up a good data base of reliable tradesmen.

The house was built on a finca with eight other houses, and each house has approx 6,500 sq metres of land. This provides privacy for each house but also a reassuring feeling of having neighbours at hand. This is not an urbanisation.

The village has a shop which sells all necessary items, and there are two bars and a restaurant.

A five minute walk away is the healthy living resort of `Sol Andulusi` which is open to non-residents. This resort has a restaurant, bar, spa, indoor pool and sauna and small shop, as well as an outdoor pool and fabulous gardens and terraces. Although only a short walk from the house it cannot be seen or heard as it has been built into the valley to make the most of the sea views in the distance.

The airport at Malaga, is only 15 minutes by car, as is the nearest beach, `Playa del Golf`. Marbella is a 40 minute drive away using the new road from Coin.

The house itself was built 10 years ago, in typical rustic Andalucía style, and is nestled into a hillside giving fabulous views of the Guadlahorce valley.

The house and surrounding garden and terraces are all on one level. There are steps leading down from the terraces onto the rest of the land which is sloping and covered in lemon trees.

Bedroom 1 has a double and single bed, fitted wardrobes and a large ensuite shower room. This bedroom has double doors which open up onto the pool area.

Bedroom 3 has two single beds and room for a small wardrobe.

This means the house can sleep up to seven comfortably.

There is a modern fully tiled bathroom, bath (with shower), hand basin, bidet and toilet.

The Kitchen is a good size, fully fitted with hand-made pale denim-blue wooden cabinets, and includes a hob, oven, dishwasher and large fridge.

There is a living room with an open fireplace, seating for 5 people and the all important sky box!

Outside, to the left of the house there is a small stone store house, which has been built to compliment the main house. To the front of this is a small garden laid to lawn.

To the right of the house is a large tiled terrace which goes from the front of the property and around to the side, where you will find the swimming pool, which has tiled steps leading down into the water. The pool has underwater lighting and there are alcoves in the walls that also provide lighting for the pool area.

Part of this terrace has a large bamboo covered wooden pergola which in the summer has white linen drapes all around, to provide welcome shade from the soaring heat. This has been furnished with cane sofas and a large dining table and chairs, and there is electric sockets for extra light or hi-fi.

This terrace has a wall all around it, and this gradually gets taller as it goes around the pool, to give it complete privacy.
In the left hand corner of the pool area is a stone corner seat filled with many cushions and covered with a wooden pergola, to give you more shade.

To the back of the house are the entrance gates and a large stone built pergola which can cover 2 cars. Pool 4m x 3m with pump room at ground level providing full filtration.
